To request an absentee ballot:  Send a letter with your name, local address, mailing address (if different), date of the election, and that you are requesting an absentee ballot.  The letter must include your signature.  Also, send a copy of your photo identification.  In some cases, spouses may include both their names and signatures on one letter rather than send two separate letters.  Also, you may call the Town Hall Office to schedule an appointment to vote absentee in person.  The State of Wisconsin requires voter registration for all voters.
